Ramudden is a Swedish company that delivers comprehensive safety solutions for road and construction sites, public spaces, industrial areas, and large infrastructure projects. Their focus is not only on creating safer work environments through advisory services, site supervision, and digital tools, but also on providing rental solutions that contribute to safer traffic environments. Before implementing Planacy in 2024, Ramudden relied on Excel as their primary tool for financial planning.
“Our old solution in Excel was both time-consuming and risky. With Planacy we save a lot of time on manual tasks and we have a much higher level of security. In addition, we can work with driver-based planning now, which was not possible before when we did the input directly at the account level," says Åsa Jonsson, CFO at Ramudden.
Ramudden’s Planacy setup includes personnel budgeting, investments, as well as balance sheet and cash flow planning. Their next step is to integrate Planacy with Snowflake, which will further connect budgeting, forecasting, and planning with the company’s other data streams.
“Planacy has allowed us to decentralise budget responsibility and simplify how we collect input on financial processes across the organisation. This has created a far more value-adding process than we had before. It’s also much easier to involve end-users in the planning work,” Åsa Jonsson explains.
The greatest advantages Ramudden sees with Planacy are smoother, more efficient processes, and time savings. They also note very positive feedback from end-users, who find Planacy’s interface intuitive, easy to learn, and simple to use in day-to-day work.
