The idea for Planacy was born from two of the company's founders, who for many years had helped companies analyse their historical data with the market's leading business intelligence systems. They realised that there was a great need for an equally powerful and flexible tool for budgeting and forecasting – a tool that could match the strong analytical capabilities of business intelligence.

Founders: Frans Boström, Mattias “Matti” Nilsson, Niklas Frost, Tobias Engström, Jonas Kilström and Ulf Andersson. Jimmy Stenqvist Evegård, Tom Sökjer and Mikael Edh were recruited shortly after the founding of the company.

Our Vision

After several years of agile product development, testing and close collaboration with finance managers, controllers and operations managers, Planacy was founded in 2015. The vision was clear: to simplify and streamline financial planning for medium to large sized companies. A product that would not only reflect the past, but also help shape the future.
